i kinda like it Darek, has a nice feel. Not sure about that saw-ish midbass, maybe something smoother would be better for the feel of the track?
i dont think the piano is necessary, theres kinda too many things going on then

i like the idear and when the piano comes in it gives it a flowing feel BUT the percusion does not seem to drive the track infact i think that it drowns out some of the main elements.

cut back on ur perc and bring the piano up, less is more(yes im guilty of this )

for mine, yeah i probably overdid the kick, i forgot to check on my monitors!

It sounds pretty good, but you're only using 3 patterns for the entire track, making it very repetitive rather quickly. It could work as a dj tool, but I'd try adding some more percussion and some more variation.

Yeah, I'm going for progressive Chill-House vibe with emotional and catchy sub-melodic theme so this piano help me create this desired effect - as far as bass line, I will check if slight different take on it would properly coexist with everything around - thank man!!!

Appreciate your honest opinion man - at this point, as far as drums concern, I wasn't looking for a drive (as compere to Trance) as much as for give a sense of smooth chilling rhythm/vibe in this production.

I definitely going after nice and balance progressive structure and sound which will have to evolve over the time -> and at the same time I believe that female vocal would spice up this track even more by adding this extra spark to it lol.

Lets start finally with this Trance track lol - it has some nice melodic development and drives really well (need to be mix/mastered properly in order to meet today standards) - I would suggest (if you care) to start your track from around 1:00 mark till 3:15 then again from 4:15 till the end - the rest is not needed (in my view).

If is done the right way then you could have some really strong production on the hand

Yeah, I tried.. but couldn't really come up with anything that didn't make the track worse. I'm trying to get better at more diverse programming but I hate this micro-editing kind of shit so i'd rather iterate fast than spend forever on one track.

yeah im not looking for "loud" for this style really - just something relaxing on the ear
I use a tape plugin on the master to soften the mix overall

this mix however, think i overdid the low end which is effectively making the mids/highs sound quieter, will get back to this tomorrow night hopefully!

yep - im with you on working fast. Your sound will develop as you go. i think your on the right track, less is more, imo anyway

Your best track in a while I think but you can make the piano melody more enriching by adding another note or 2, I will post up what I mean shortly;

I was thinking a piano melody along these lines but of course it's your baby,

Anyway I went away and re-worked the drop for colours 3, this is about as good as I can do really

i like that only critic is the transition as you have all ur elements in the breakdown to the single note build its to servere make its change more subtle imo


btw any idears what else mine might need? some may not like the arrangement being as long but hald of it wont be played due to mix in/out
