Raphie's studio really needs an OB-6.

If anyone's interested, btw:

It's sold as a DIY kit here for about $650 total. Fully analog and seems to sound better (and is cheaper) than the Acidlab Miami.

This is quite cool. I'd only need a second echo audiofire card to have enough inputs for the drums seperately hehe.

I'm still waiting for my enclosure so I can get it finally built. Very excited. The same company is doing a 909 clone now:

And the best bit is every time he streams from the studio, he's using Serum in Live

Prophet 10 I remember when that was first released back in the early 80s. I still have my old copy of Musician Magazine somewhere with the first P5/P10 ad I ever saw - instant GAS.

Literally and figuratively.

Im sure Steve Duda is happy with that

And here I am just trying to upgrade these 3 inch monitors, I'm kind of insecure about going larger, because I need my penis to be longer than the woofer cone. Seriously though, I have nothing, and im happy; if I posted my "studio" pic 99/100 will laugh at me pretty hard so I don't think im gonna do that. Maybe some 8 inch monitors would be nice, but I would never do that to my neighbours.

I hope you didn't make the same mistake I did and forget to remove the eggs before installing it. My studio still smells like rotten eggs.

Oh very cool. That sounds great too. How's build quality etc?

In the meantime, I had a couple of impulsive mishaps

XV-5080 cool - i used to have a JD-990 but just couldnt deal with the interface

The Dominion is built very solidly from what I can tell so far, you have to put a bit of effort into turning the switching knobs which is a good sign
the ADSR sliders are a bit loose but im ok with that

I'll be using the 5080 as a rompler for the most part. I have no plans to edit sounds with it lol.

I might have accidentally bought something else as they've just discontinued it.
