Originally posted by AlphaStarred i hear that! Yeah, the Elektron drum machines are pretty sweet (seems like they're worth the price). Love this: https://www.facebook.com/SifresAcid...30371480377577/ Still waiting to get a Yocto 808 case and then hopefully find someone to build it for me. |

Originally posted by tehlord I think the Elektron gear is definitely worth the money as it's so deep an well thought out, not to mention capable. The addition of overbridge adds massive value to the analog devices, especially as it's free! |

Originally posted by AlphaStarred Nice. Yeah, I was sold after I'd heard the track in that vid. I'd say the same about the old Korg electribes - the ER-1 does have limitations but for the price they go for, lots of these machines are good especially for the sounds peculiar to them, that you can't find on other machines (prolly goes for most gear - I'm sure even the Akai Rhythm Wolf may be useful in a setup). |
it's funny how no one ever includes their pc or mac in their gear pics...lel...the most important piece.
Usually also the piece everyone has = less fun... Unless its a maxed out Mac pro.

because its what you use to record your mix and upload it to a site
Maybe we need a dedicated "Show us your computer(s)" thread?

i have a feeliung if this was 1989, whatever the most powerful home computer was at that point, would be front and center...heheheh

Thought it's more of a drum machine? IIRC, it has some synth sounds, not sure what it's primarily used for. If/when I can afford one, might buy it.
If anyone's interested, btw:
It's sold as a DIY kit here for about $650 total. Fully analog and seems to sound better (and is cheaper) than the Acidlab Miami.
