Originally posted by JohnSmith you should be able to mix fine, just making it sound smooth without EQ would be tough. |
*looks at allen & heath xone 62 mixers in those pics*
*looks at pioneer 500, kicks it and yells "why cant you be those"*
To all you bastards that own a Xone:62, SCREW YOU! SCREW YOU HARD!
By next year, this is my setup, you can hold me to this, unless better stuff that I want comes out

Tascam X9 Mixer
1 Pioneer HDJ-1000
Shure White Label Cartridge
2 Crown XLS 602A Power Amplifier

By the end of this year, I should have everything except the Tascam mixer and the SKB record case. Right now Im mixing with a Behringer DJX400, in Sept will upgrade to the DJX700.
I should have a pic of my setup in a few months, prepare to be amazed!
Oh yea, almost forgot, I will be building myself a stand and a table for the home. My father owns a woodworking/cabinet making shop, so I have easy access to wood and all those great things, plus Im gonna have a 'pro' help with building it.
I got the CDJ 800's today, the mixer is a couple of weeks old. Above this set i will set up my turntables.
what are the main differences between the cdj 800's and 1000's?
Heh other than color, but they both look sick.

Redid my space a little bit. Still 2 "ghetto-blasters" and an even more ghetto mixer :\ Well, I do have 40+ records tho!
My setup -
Two Gemini XL-500 IIs
American DJ XDM-241 Mixer
2 Stanton 500AL-II Needles
Sony MDJ-V500 Headphones
4 Harmon/Kardon Powered Speakers
1 Altec Lansing 30 Watt Subwoofer
Anyone wanna make a donation?
looks like he's reading a post from Tiger777!
and... whats in those boxes? They're still sealed and look as though they're postmarked.
Just nosy curiosity. :/
Yeah, I just used those to elevate my mxier, makes it a little easier to get to.
And the mixer next to my computer I used to select the speaker output for the tables, the tv (so i can have semi-surround sound), and the computer. Its all pretty ghetto-fabulous!
