Originally posted by djnitride Thats pretty damn good sounding considering Live's builtin reverb. Really like the track by the way, great vocal, songwriting, and production all around. No gripes here! ------------- @evo8: Nice work on that remix! Sounding really good. I wish I could give you some constructive criticism but I can't find any issues with the track. I need to work on making one as well but I have been struggling to live up the original track haha. ------------- Heres a techno jam session I recorded live today, any feedback on what works or what doesn't would be great |

Originally posted by evo8 this is subjective but for me the kick would have to be a lot heavier and a bit more distorted, the bass is good i would like it to have heavier hats as well and some percussion to drive things along |
I am guessing more present / less washy sounding. Sound saturation could do the job maybe?
Thanks evo8, I am going to work on getting the percussion down and then move on to adding more details / synthy stuff.
Just wanna say I listened to most of the track posts recently, and dont have crits. But Evo8, I feel there is a lot more you can do with your wip, I agree with Richard and would start with the bassline and work from there.
I think this remix of Calebs track is done now.
Sounding great Richard.
Fantastic track Richard, everything is on point including the mixing. One of the better tracks I have heard on this forum, it just works man
Latest update to my track, think its ready to go into mixing now. Lets see how many people catch the movie sample

Well remixing is easy for me really. Starting from scratch is much more difficult for me. This is my 2nd vocal remix and def glad to contribute, cheers.

Originally posted by Veverka Then start remixing something and once you have something cool gradually remove everything reminiscent of the original, and you'll end up with something that's entirely your own. |
