isnt a little low?

i use to have a table at a low level like that and i always felt pain in my back after spinning

85cm isn't too low for me, I'm 1.83m. My original booth is also 85cm btw, never had back problems though.

I like the one with the DJ in the suit jacket, and who is the female DJ? Is that a club in your area? Nice Mackie mixer it looks like, I might get one for final mix (not DJing).

The female DJ is Miss Dilemma. The picture was taken at a Club Cruise where PvD also played the same night. More pics from the cruise here The hairy arms belong to Özgür Can, and I'm sure you all recognize Marco V and Adam Beyer on some of the other pics.

Right then guys just moved into my new flat and got my gear setup, with new flightcase for mixer and desk I made:



The desk that its all on cost me a grand total of £30!!! People in the UK get to Index and buy 3 of their pine shoe racks, use 2 at either end and then the 1 in the middle dont bother putting in the middle shelf and its the perfect size for vinyls! Had the wood for the decks to sit on lying around

Well chuffed cos its cheap as hell and the perfect height for me being 6Ft 4" too, Lovin it

Laszlo- you are one seriously good photographer..... hats off to you dude

and ste- thats almost the most ghetto stand i have ever seen.... lovin it I hope your bird doesnt run out of space for her shoes....she will take it without a second thought

hahhaha... man is it the camera or the desk seem like theres a slight bend?

My Setup

Well, I guess I'll show my setup as well...




I think that's a decent way to get started. Next thing to be added is a Technics, then further down the road an upgraded mixer and maybe an EFX unit..
