Does not sound outstanding yet but certainly does not sound bad, vocals seem a bit out of key at points but i think vocals will sit well, i see a good potential i like this kind of "yacht house " tunes show me the final version and i will tell you if something needs more work so far... great potential.

Originally posted by TranceLover007 OK guys - just to resurrect this thread a bit I decided to share with you my latest vocal track - still in very early WIP stage but you could definitely hear and feel the direction I'm taking this track through. At the moment is very dry yet as vocal need to be re-recorded (for now it is only a space reservation to complete structural arrangement). She found me on SoundCloud and offer an collab on my track preview - so good things will happen with your dedication and persistence So give it a run (it is a private track so you would not find it on SoundCloud): DCH New Concept MAY 05 2013 Vocal Ableton 9 by DariusX. an attempt at a more funkier sound........
p.s. how good is Valhalla Vintage Verb, covers so much ground, for 50 dollars is just ridiculous

Darius - really like her vocals, especially in the drop - I wouldn't re - record that part mate, they are perfectly sung.
Great track - your best ever.

EVO - that shit rocks!
Just one thing - that screaming dropping siren - maybe have it go quieter sometimes as it gets a bit irritating.

Rodri that one sounds like 1994 Super Mario tune. I say move on from this one. Sorry mate.

Originally posted by evo8 normally wouldnt listen to stuff like this but i kinda like it! Has that deadmau5 feel But i think its a bit heavy in the low-mids in places - if you listen to the radio mix of I Remember you can hear it has more space down there and lets the vocal be more dominant in that range and yeah, some of the vox are a bit off in places! but overall nice tune! some more work maybe to make it more pleasant on the ears overall and i would listen to it more one more thing just at 3:45 if you automate the bass eq leading up to that drop i think the drop will be much nicer - at the moment im not really sure is the track really in at 3:16??? |

Originally posted by Rodri Santos I like it but has no real groove and kick is hidden with the rest of the elements, the virus type synth looks very cool. -------------------------------------------------------------- I have been working on this for too long, maybe 3 hours already and in this time i should have made a lot more, it's simply that i'm not feeing this at all. Do you think i should stop working on this and start with something else?? This is uncarefully slammed, last minute is what the main chorus should look like. Rest is just to see the other elements more clearly. Thx! |
Damn rodri trash that project, you do can do way better.

i think is simply that i've lost the focus completely for uplifting i am stuck in the 1998 period and can't make anything that sounds remotely modern and fashionable, i have a good melody in my head but maybe i'd try a 140 bpm tech trance withot elaborated melody i am better at this than with the happy stuff
still lots to do on this
any thoughts welcome
just realized i dont like the fm risr before the drop sounds horrid thats going for sure!

Originally posted by TranceLover007 Chris, this sound (technically speaking) good, no complains from my site but to be honest (and ignore that if you don't agree with me ) feels more aline with 2000 Trance standard then today's my friend and would take some serious reconstruction (at least in sound design department) to get this WIP to today standard/level.
