Feedback needed

Hi everybody,

i'm an total music amateur, and everything i heard on this topic sounds more professional than my work, so i'm not pretty usefull for giving technical comments. I can only say if i like the song or not, and so i will, so help me god

What i need is a feedback for this track. I didn't work much on it. Deegee pointed out that main melody is off beat with the rest of the track. Sometimes I notice that, sometimes i don't. What do you guys think?

Well, I started to be worry after 2 min mark as I only could hear some bass line (like 4 different layers) going with drums and finally just give up after 4 min mark because it wasn't much of progression going on past one chord - sorry mate but I would definitely like to hear some melody start to build around this time. You got some drive and energy but you need some good quality melody going on with the rest

oh i know its no were done i was more wondering about the chords that come in as i swear ive heard it before but cant remember.

its also 1 min to long also haha

this is quite cool! reminds me a little of the style of Jean Michel Jarre and stuff like that. I think you need something extra to come in as does sound a little samey, im sure your already working on that

not bad, big improvement on the stuff i heard from you before! melody is very familiar but i cant place it, wouldnt worry about it!

staying on a prog theme, happy with this one also!

some more development, bit deeper grooves, again live, but trying out the grooves for laying out the tracks. pretty happy with the groove now, loads of subtile details, just need to work on the flow.

I like it. Very soft and ear sweet, nice bassline, love the vocal sample, it fits perfect. The only thing i may not like is the drum crush sound.

This is actualy pretty cool and different and I enjoy the overall sound. The main leed is a bit too omnipresent, maybe replace it with something else here n there.

I really like the melody and chord work once it gets going and it sounds good to. Maybe the open hat is a bit standard though.

wow another fantastic pallet of sounds and mixing. Watch that low verby tom it's clashing with lows and a bit muddy.

Drop is great but gets a bit repetitive, needs something to come in after about 16 measures.

This is the best track from you and the groOve is luscious and very warehouse cool.

Just needs a few more sounds here n there, you know cinematic type things, maybe a faraway vocal stab whatever. I was desperate for a shuffling little hi hat to join the fun at about 3 minutes.

jeeze some real good tracks on here lately and this is another. Really satisfying, sort of thing I'd love humming to in a cool surf clothing shop.

Only thing I don't like is the snare. I'd say only use that on say every 4th measure. Try and get snares hits to vary over say an 8 bar loop using subbtle eq automation etc so it does not get static.

So the feedback I got on this caused me to try and make something more atmospheric, I hope I've pulled it off.

Any mix issues - bass too wooden for example? Maybe this bass no longer suits this changed track?

thanks, might EQ that tom roll a bit better, a few more tweaks needed here and there!
