Those Behringers can almost get as loud as the Berret, I've noticed. The only problem with that .50 cal is the over-pressure in the studio can be really hard on your hearing.

I can only speak for myself, and the money I've earned from music sales wouldn't even cover the cost of one of my mics. My studio was built from gear I accumulated back when I used to play live, much of which I sold to buy studio gear, and disposable income from my non-music job.

Just picked up a Dell 17" i5 with 8GB RAM and 750GB and an Arturia controller. Now I can watch the hockey playoffs while I'm working on tracks.
